Avro RJ85...it packs some punch

I think the first time I rode on an Avro RJ85, it was from Florence, Italy up to Frankfurt, Germany. Never in my life have I felt the G-force on a small plane as I felt on that jet. Smooth, powerful, compact. . .check it out on http://www.airliners.net (do a search on RJ85).

I first saw an RJ-85 landing at Dulles a few years back and thought I was seeing a miniature troop carrier. . .with four individual jet engines on a top wing.

Anyway, if you ever get a chance to ride on one, do it. Any way you look at it, I love airplanes.
