Airbus Behemoth

Boompsy daisy! That's what I was thinking when I saw that big old blubbery Airbus jet land in, where was it, London a month or so back. I had to admit that I held my breath, hoping the thing wouldn't bounce off the runway or splatter itself on the runway like a big old Humpty Dumpty.

My first impression was, "Wow, what a jet!" But the more I see this thing make news, the less likely you'll find me warming one of its seats. Even though the business class is supposed to have humidified air (which would make those long high-altitude flights much more manageable), that's of small benefit when it comes to wanting to arrive in one piece.

Never say never though.
